- MBA Student Kara Edmonson works as a legal assistant in Downtown Winchester. "As I continue my education in Business Administration, I continually parallel the concepts and information introduced in classes to the workplace. Whether applying my accounting knowledge, following my ethical compass, communicating with clients and co-workers or tackling a research project, the Byrd School faculty and the knowledge I am gaining in the MBA program have and will continue to foster my development as a professional business leader."

- Brandon is now the marketing director for Chick-fil-A in Fairfax, Virginia. While attending SU, Brandon served as President of the Student Government Association and as Buzzy D. Hornet, the school's athletic mascot. Brandon also organized the Byrd Lecture Series. In his commencement speak to his classmates he said: "Go dream big, believe in your dreams, and achieve your dreams."

- Tiffany graduated with a degree in business administration in May '06 and won the title of Miss West Virginia in June. Besides her business acumen, Tiffany is also a talented singer and has performed with "American Idol" runner-up, Bo Bice, Hank Williams Jr., and the Commodores
