Admissions & Financial Aid

Admissions - It's not about where you get in; it's about where you fit in.

Thank you for your interest in Shenandoah University. Admission to the university is competitive, and a shared responsibility between the applicant and the Office of Admissions. As an applicant, we ask that you assess your academic and career goals, your preparation and motivation for pursuing higher education, and most important, why Shenandoah is the right university for you.

Fitting In

For its part, the Office of Admissions offers this perspective on the kind of student who chooses SU. Shenandoah students are focused and have a sense of purpose; they enjoy teamwork and helping others; they take pride in working hard to achieve their goals; they are close to their family and friends; they accept people different from themselves; they see themselves as global citizens; and they want to make the world a better place.

Undergraduate and graduate students say Shenandoah is the right university for them because it's a small university in a great location that offers the right mix of academic programs.

Do you see yourself in these descriptions? We hope you do and that you will apply for admission to SU.
